HOW WE GOT HERE
Nearly 30 Years of Building. 11 Years of Flying.
Our story starts in 1997, when Gary Arndt founded Fox Valley Web Design in Northeast Wisconsin. The work grew around a simple idea: understand the business first, then build the website, brand, photography, and marketing around what will actually help it grow.
In 2015, Gary and Nicholas launched Above Wisconsin as a dedicated aerial photo and video company. As drone technology and FAA Part 107 operations matured, the work expanded from individual properties and landscapes into construction progress, commercial facilities, tourism, communities, events, and larger-scale visual storytelling.
Today, the two companies work as one connected creative team. Above Wisconsin captures the original media; Fox Valley Web Design helps turn it into websites, search visibility, social content, campaigns, and long-term digital systems.
The next chapter is focused on smart, steady growth: more recurring commercial partnerships, stronger content production, broader regional coverage, and better tools for clients—while keeping the direct communication and accountability of a small family business.
